A little bit about me

My name is Rodger (with a "D") and I've lived in Irvine all of my life and as you can see from my photo I'm a dog lover. I worked for 19 years with a large PLC company called Speedy Services, where I was was employed in various management positions starting as Depot Manager, progressing to Area Operations Manager and then onto Regional Director where I had full responsibility for Scotland and the North of England. In December 2019 I decided to take my redundancy from Speedy, a great company that taught me all about customer service and how to deliver high standards in everything that we did. After leaving Speedy, I initially helped out in my wife's cleaning company Aable Cleaning Services where part of her business involved doing garden maintenance for some of her cleaning clients, which is a mixture of domestic and commercial work. I was drawn more into the outside garden work as I enjoyed the outdoors and seeing the delight on peoples faces when their gardens were transformed. It soon became apparent to me that many people were looking for a low maintenance garden, which is where my wee company Cutting Edge Artificial Grass was born from. I immersed myself into it and studied all the different aspects of installation and learned about all the different types of artificial grass and drainage systems. 

I now consider myself quite expert in artificial grass supply and fitting and specialise in artificial grass for dog areas which involves fitting a special type of grass and sub-base that totally minimises the risk of urine odours. My dog area system is a result of lots of experience, plus trial and error and I am very confident that my current system is far superior to any others around . After all I do have 3 fur babies who are more than happy to help me out with my ongoing testing lol.
