A brief description of our Premium built Ayrshire sheds

Log-lap - 21 mm slow grown Scandinavian redwood log -lap cladding attached to a sturdy frame, it's pressure treated. Redwood is much denser than white pine and far less likely to warp. The pressure treatment involves deep preservative penetratiion into the cells of the wood to give many years of protection against fungal rot and insect attack. An oil based water repellent is also added. Both ceilings and floor are made from tongue and grooved pressure treated timber which is far superior to the cheaper OSB board which is easily damaged by moisture. Standard - 12 mm Scandinavian, pressure treated white pine cladding attached to a sturdy frame. Pre-stained in a golden colour with an oil based water repellent applied. Both ceilings and floor are made from tongue and grooved pressure treated timber which is far superior to the cheaper OSB board which is easily damaged by moisture.
