Fit concrete weed suppression band around the perimeter if required (this again has 2 purposes ie. an additional weed barrier as weeds tend to creep out of the edges and to support/strengthen the frame)
Lay wet compacted stone e,g. Type 1, 20mm or40mm dry stone etc.
Lay wet compacted whin dust or 6mm drainage stone (not sand)
Roll and stretch the artificial grass before securely fixing
Machine brush up the grass pile
Remove all waste
For areas where dogs will urinate, a special PU backed synthetic grass is used and a different, more bespoke installation process is used to minimise the risk of dog urine odours.
